Five Zendesk-Jira integration tools, ranked by Atlassian Marketplace rating as of October 2026:

Getint (5/5, 15 reviews): two-way sync with field mapping, tiered pricing via Atlassian.

Sinergify (5/5, 1 review): free two-way sync, but few reviews and no release since April 2024.

Exalate (rating unverified): scriptable sync, including across companies, priced by items in sync.

Zendesk Support for Jira (3.4/5, 143 reviews): free and most widely installed, but mostly Zendesk-to-Jira and weaker reviews.

Korvex’s Zendesk Connector (no reviews yet): display-only, one-way or two-way modes, paid with a free trial.

When a customer reports a bug, the ticket often moves from support to engineering, and that handoff is costly.
HDI states that resolving a ticket through an escalation group costs at least twice as much as resolving it at Level 1, and often more [1].

Zendesk–Jira integrations exist to make that handoff cleaner by turning a ticket into a tracked issue and passing status and comments back.

The tool choice isn't obvious. Zendesk's own free Jira app has the most installs on the Atlassian Marketplace, at 12,890, but a 3.4/5 rating [2]. The dedicated connectors below each have under about 500 installs, so their ratings rest on far fewer reviews.

This guide ranks five tools by their Atlassian Marketplace rating as of October 2026. Pricing and features change often, so confirm details with each vendor before you commit.

1. Getint: Zendesk Integration for Jira (Forge)

Atlassian listing and rating: Zendesk Integration for Jira (Zendesk Connector) FORGE is rated 5/5 across 15 reviews, with about 159 installs.

Pricing: Getint's licensing docs say Jira integration pricing varies by Jira version and user count, following Atlassian Marketplace guidelines, with one license per integration. In a 2024 update, Getint said it offers free plans for up to 10 Jira Cloud users on select apps. Confirm whether that applies to the Zendesk app on the listing's Pricing tab.

Where it stands out:

Built on Atlassian Forge.

Syncs comments, attachments, priorities, statuses, private comments and custom fields.

Offers configurable field mapping and sync rules.

Has the strongest review record of the five.

Where it falls short:

Pricing scales with Jira user count, so larger instances pay more.

Getint is a multi-tool integration platform, so teams that only need simple ticket escalation may find it more than they need.

The reviews are positive but still a small sample.

Best for: Teams that want two-way sync with field mapping and prefer to be billed through Atlassian.

2. Exalate Zendesk Connector for Jira

Atlassian listing and rating: Exalate Zendesk Connector for Jira is rated 5/5 and shows about 130 downloads.

Pricing: Exalate's pricing is per integration and based on active items in sync, such as a Zendesk ticket linked to a Jira issue. Tiers include 25 or 100 items, custom volumes and unlimited. Check the pricing page for current amounts.

Where it stands out:

It can sync across company borders.

It can link multiple Zendesk instances to one Jira.

A Test Run feature previews sync rules on real data.

Scripting allows extensive customization.

Where it falls short:

Cost grows with the number of items kept in sync.

Scripted flexibility may be more than a simple escalation needs.

Best for: Teams with complex or cross-company workflows, or those that need custom sync logic.

3. Sinergify: Zendesk Connector for Jira (Grazitti Interactive)

Atlassian listing and rating: Sinergify: Zendesk Connector for Jira is rated 5/5 from a single review, with 28 installs.

Pricing: Free, under a commercial license at no charge.

Where it stands out:

Agents can raise Jira tickets from Zendesk.

Comments and attachments sync in near real time in both directions.

Jira users can see Zendesk comments and ticket details.

It costs nothing to try.

Where it falls short:

The latest version was released in April 2024.

Test it in a sandbox and ask the vendor about maintenance first.

Best for: Small teams that want a free connector for ticket-to-issue syncing and are willing to vet it themselves.

4. Zendesk Support for Jira (Official)

Atlassian listing and rating: Zendesk Support for Jira is rated 3.4/5 based on 143 reviews across hosting types, with 12,890 installs.

Pricing: The app is free and works on Zendesk Support Team, Professional, and Enterprise plans and every Suite plan. It requires Jira Cloud on the Standard tier or higher, or Jira Data Center.

Where it stands out:

It is the most widely installed option and is built and maintained by Zendesk.

Agents can create or link a Jira issue from the Zendesk ticket sidebar.

One Jira issue can be linked to up to 200 Zendesk tickets.

Where it falls short:

Its Atlassian rating is the lowest of the five with a large sample.

Reviewers report that it doesn't work on Firefox and that the "Disconnect" button does nothing.

One reviewer on Zendesk's listing says internal Jira notes show up in Zendesk.

One guide describes some of its sync behavior as Zendesk to Jira only, so it is not full two-way sync.

Best for: Teams that need basic escalation from Zendesk to Jira at no extra cost.

5. Zendesk Connector for Jira (Korvex Systems)

Atlassian listing and rating: Zendesk Connector for Jira has no reviews yet and about 449 installs.

It shows live previews of linked Zendesk tickets, customers and organizations in the Jira issue panel.

The display-only mode suits teams that want visibility without syncing.

Where it falls short:

With no reviews, there is no track record to judge.

The listing is marked as new.

The app isn't part of the Marketplace Bug Bounty program.

Best for: Teams that want Zendesk context inside Jira issues and are comfortable trialing a newer app.

Which Tool Fits Who

Free and simple: The official Zendesk app. Expect some rough edges, given its reviews.

Free, with sync both ways: Sinergify, if you want a simple way to connect both Zendesk and Jira with bi-directional sync.

Two-way sync with field mapping and Atlassian billing: Getint.

Cross-company or heavily customized workflows: Exalate.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does a Zendesk-Jira integration do?

It links a Zendesk ticket to a Jira issue, so support can escalate a bug to engineering without copying details between tools. Depending on the tool, it can also pass comments, attachments, statuses, and custom fields back and forth, so agents can see progress without asking an engineer.

Is there a free Zendesk-Jira integration?

Yes, two on this list. Zendesk's official Jira app is free and works on Zendesk Support Team, Professional and Enterprise plans and every Suite plan. Sinergify is also free, but it has only one review and its latest release was in April 2024. Getint has said select apps are free for up to 10 Jira Cloud users, so check whether that applies to its Zendesk app.

Do I need two-way sync?

Yes, but not always. One-way sync, where a ticket creates a Jira issue and updates flow mainly in one direction, is enough if engineers rarely need to see Zendesk activity. Two-way sync matters when engineers and agents both update the same record, for example when status changes in Jira should appear in Zendesk automatically. One guide describes some of the official app's sync behavior as Zendesk to Jira only, so check the details before relying on it for two-way workflows.

Is Zendesk's official Jira app good enough?

For basic escalation, it may be. It is free and lets agents create or link a Jira issue from the Zendesk ticket sidebar. One Jira issue can be linked to up to 200 Zendesk tickets. Its 3.4/5 rating reflects complaints such as problems in Firefox and internal Jira notes appearing in Zendesk, so test it against your workflow before standardizing on it.

How long does setup take?

One third-party guide estimates about 15 minutes to install and link the official Zendesk app. Scripted or multi-system tools such as Exalate generally take longer, because you configure sync rules. Exalate must also be installed on both the Jira and Zendesk sides.

Are there other Zendesk-Jira tools not on this list?

Yes. Unito, ZigiOps, ConnectALL and Appvibe also have Zendesk–Jira listings on the Atlassian Marketplace, but they showed "No reviews yet" or low reviews at the time of research, so they couldn't be ranked by rating. There is also Zendesk Agent+ for Jira, a Rovo AI agent that lets you ask about Zendesk tickets from Jira. It surfaces context but is not a sync connector.

TL;DR

Sinergify is a two-way Salesforce-Jira integration available on Salesforce AppExchange and the Atlassian Marketplace.

It syncs cases, ideas, incidents, and Email-to-Case, including fields, comments, and attachments, and sends status updates back to Salesforce.

Setup takes four steps: install the app in Jira, authenticate with a Salesforce Connected App, configure events, and map fields.

Pricing starts at $1,499/year for 10 Salesforce users and unlimited Jira users, with a 60-day free trial.

It needs admin access on both platforms, some Salesforce features enabled, and testing of edge cases like simultaneous edits.

Why Salesforce and Jira integrations are a challenge

If you've worked in Salesforce while your engineering team lived in Jira, you know the pattern: a customer reports a problem, someone copies the details into a ticket, and a week later someone asks, "Did anyone update the case?"

Sales and support use Salesforce as the center of customer data, while developers track bugs and features in Jira. When the two don't talk to each other, work gets duplicated, context gets lost, and small mismatches turn into slow resolutions.

Insight: According to Lorikeet, "Every hour beyond expected response windows can reduce CSAT by as much as 12 percentage points".

For the purpose of demonstration, this post covers how to connect the two with Sinergify, an integration available on Salesforce AppExchange and the Atlassian Marketplace. It walks through installation, authentication, and configuration, and ends with what it does well and where it may not fit.

What a Salesforce–Jira connection can cover

Cases: Support escalations in Salesforce can become Jira issues, with updates flowing back so support sees the status.

Ideas: Customer feature requests in Salesforce Ideas can reach the engineering backlog without retyping.

Incidents: With Salesforce Incident Management, critical problems can be tracked on both sides.

Email-to-Case: Customer emails that become cases can feed into the same flow.

What is Sinergify?

Sinergify is a Salesforce–Jira integration available on Salesforce AppExchange and the Atlassian Marketplace. A change made in Salesforce is reflected in Jira, and a change made in Jira is reflected in Salesforce.

It also includes a Jira-side plugin that shows Salesforce data directly inside Jira issues, so engineers get customer context without leaving Jira. The plugin is available for Jira Cloud and Jira Server / Data Center.

Before you start

You'll need a Salesforce Connected App, because the authentication step asks for its consumer key and client secret. Sinergify also expects some Salesforce features to be enabled (Ideas, Incident Management, Email-to-Case) and dedicated integration users on both sides.

Setting up the Salesforce–Jira connector

Step 1. Installation

(1) Select Apps, under the drop-down menu select, Find new apps in your Jira instance.

Step 4. Configuration Settings

(1) Field Configuration

Already Mapped Objects: This will show you the Objects that have been mapped on the Salesforce side Administration Panel. If the object is removed from Sinergify admin settings, then the Object will be shown in Red.

Choose a Salesforce Object:

Select the Salesforce object to configure fields. Once an object is selected, the Configure Fields section appears automatically. Objects in the dropdown are based on the Salesforce Sinergify Admin settings.

(2) Configure Fields:

After selecting the object, the field configuration screen appears with four tabs: Search, Details, List, and Compact.

It is used to map Salesforce Object fields with Jira project fields to prepopulate the field values on the Create Salesforce Record Screen.

You can also decide the mapping of picklist values which is applicable only for picklist-type fields.

A typical workflow

A support agent logs a customer-reported checkout bug as a case in Salesforce.

Sinergify creates a Jira issue and carries over the mapped fields, comments, and attachments.

An engineer works the issue in Jira without needing to open Salesforce.

Status changes sync back to the case, so support sees real progress.

When the issue is resolved in Jira, the case reflects the resolution.

Key features

Bi-directional sync: Changes in either system are reflected in the other.

Create Jira issues from Salesforce: Use a button, or call the exposed methods from triggers or process builders for automatic creation.

View Jira issue details in Salesforce.

Search and link Jira issues: Search by project name, issue type, assignee, reporter, or issue key, filter on Jira fields, then view and link issues from Salesforce.

Feed item control: Link Jira issues and send feed comments and attachments to Jira using the
#linktojira
and
#sendtojira
hashtags. You can link several issues at once.

Rich text support: Formatting is preserved across both systems.

Bi-directional comments and attachments.

Reporting: Fetch reports that include Jira issue records and custom mapped fields from Salesforce.

Jira status transitions: Update Jira statuses from Salesforce, even when a transition screen is enabled in Jira.

The base package includes a 60-day free trial. Pricing can change, so check the current details on Salesforce AppExchange and the Atlassian Marketplace.

Limitations and things to know

No integration fits every team. Here's what to plan for before you start:

Setup needs admin access on both sides. You'll need a Salesforce Connected App, a dedicated Jira integration user with the right project and issue permissions, and a dedicated Salesforce user with an Admin (or equivalent custom) profile. If you don't control both platforms, expect to involve other people.

Some Salesforce prerequisites are required. Ideas, Incident Management, and Email-to-Case need to be enabled, and Ideas is switched on in the Classic Experience settings. Incident Management must be on during package installation, though you can turn it off afterward.

It's built for Salesforce and Jira only.

Pricing is tied to Salesforce users. The base package covers 10 Salesforce users (with unlimited Jira users). Larger Salesforce teams should confirm pricing for their user count.

Edge cases need testing. Behavior such as simultaneous edits on both sides, or custom workflows, is worth checking during the 60-day trial before you roll it out widely.

If your setup is unusual, Sinergify offers assisted implementation and customization.

Conclusion

If your support team works in Salesforce and your engineers work in Jira, a two-way connector means neither team has to change tools or copy data by hand. We cover common handoffs (cases, ideas, incidents, and Email-to-Case), support Jira Cloud as well as Server/Data Center, and include a free trial so you can test it on a real case before committing.

FAQs

What does a Salesforce-Jira integration do?
It connects the two systems so a change in one is reflected in the other. Support escalations become Jira issues, and status updates flow back to the Salesforce case, so neither team has to copy data by hand.

What can be synced between Salesforce and Jira?
Cases, Ideas, Incidents (via Salesforce Incident Management), and Email-to-Case. Comments, attachments, and rich text formatting sync in both directions.

Does Sinergify work with Jira Cloud and Jira Server / Data Center?
Yes. The Jira-side plugin, which shows Salesforce data inside Jira issues, is available for both.

What do I need before setting it up?
A Salesforce Connected App (you’ll need its consumer key and client secret), dedicated integration users on both sides, and Ideas, Incident Management, and Email-to-Case enabled in Salesforce.

How much does it cost?
The base package is $1,499/year for 10 Salesforce users and unlimited Jira users, and it includes a 60-day free trial. Pricing can change, so check AppExchange and the Atlassian Marketplace for current details.

Can I create Jira issues automatically from Salesforce?
Yes. You can use a button, or call the exposed methods from triggers or process builders for automatic creation.

Who is it not a good fit for?
Teams that don’t control both platforms, since setup needs admin access on each. It’s also built only for Salesforce and Jira, and larger Salesforce teams should confirm pricing for their user count.
